the wonderful world of tests begins Monday.
In the course of two weeks (14 days), we have:
M: Anatomy Test/Optics Quiz
R: Biochemistry Test
F: Theory and Methods Test/Optics Quiz
M: Optics Test
T: Theory Lab Practical
R: Neuroanatomy Test
M: Physiology Test
BLECH. Yuck. The worst part about it is that you fall behind in all of the rest of the classes because you ignore them to study for the class that you have the most immediate test in. . . They told us not to fall behind, boy were they right. It never fails.
On a better note: We are becoming awesome at making mneumonics. . . Branches of certian arteries and veins come a lot faster that way.
Nothing too exciting is happening, besides studying all the time. I wish there was a way to make it fun. As. If.
Anytime I make it "fun" (a glass of wine, or a movie...) I get too distracted and don't get anything done anyway. Alas!
One of the guys I've known since birth got married this evening. I wish I could have been there. Our parents are good friends. His dad and mine are buddies from high school that still play cards together with the wives from time to time. It's weird to think of someone you've known that long to get married. Yes, I know several people my age and/or younger are/will be married, but it's different when it's someone you've known FOREVER and when it's someone you met in college or a little later on in life...
I noticed on the drive home that THE LEAVES ARE FINALLY CHANGING 'round these parts. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't see fall leaves, but they're starting. : ) It felt like fall today, feeling crisp and smelling leafy.
This is becoming quite a random conglomeration of thoughts.
